Discover unexpected perspectives and find the cracks where the light gets in…make wild dreams come true this summer behind the backdrop of the 58th Venice Biennale Arté:

“May You Live In Interesting Times”

— two week course in venice july 15 - 27, 2019—

*SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE*

Once upon a time, not long ago, The Wild: Artist In Residence was but a dream. This dream was propelled by the perspective, sense of possibility, practical resources, and supportive network provided by the platform of the European Cultural Academy.

This unique international Academy is the official education partner of the Venice Biennale Sessions. It’s classrooms are the historic palazzos of the European Cultural Centre: prominent host of collateral exhibitions and the second largest exhibitor of contemporary art in Venice after the Biennale itself.

The ECA and its roster of lecturers welcome you warmly, offering transparency and accessibility in an often opaque and elitist art world.

Through this immersive two week course in contemporary art and curatorial studies; wild dreams are within your reach.

The Wild Residency is the dream of one independent artist, emerging curator, and self-made entrepreneur deeply motivated by gratitude and a desire to create the same kinds of quality connections, unusual opportunities and expansive experiences that ushered these ambitious dreams to reality- and to provide them to fellow creatives while building community in the arts.

During two weeks at the European Cultural Academy, I learned how to dream even bigger with an open and informed mind, to look for unusual opportunities where creativity and collaboration make even the wildest of ideas exponentially powerful, and surprisingly possible.

We invite you to join us this summer in Venice…

Ciao!
